Card Making Workshop

This workshop is beginner-friendly and includes one-on-one instruction, so you’ll be guided through the entire process at your own pace. All materials are provided, making it easy to show up and focus on creating.

Intermediate Darkroom

Covering more advanced darkroom techniques and some more experimental techniques.*

Street Photography

Gather and go on a photo walk, weather permitting. 

Meet at 6pm at the Photo Center and we head out for a walk. All cameras welcome and if you don’t have one we can provide one for you.

  RA-4 Printing  

This one-day workshop is an excellent introduction to a color darkroom practice. Learn how to make prints from your color negatives using the RA-4 process! Due to space concerns, this course is open to two students at a time. Class time is Tuesday from 2-6pm.*

Large Format Photography

A class for learning how to work with large format cameras, load sheet film, process 4 x 5 and 8 x10 negatives. I do recommend some previous camera experience for this one, at least fundamentals, but you can always brush up on your own too.

Critique Night 

Come in with your photos and chat with others about your work in progress and successes and challenges you have had. Troubleshoot, ask questions.

Introduction to Darkroom

We will cover the basics of camera operation, loading film, developing black-and-white film, and working in the darkroom, from contact sheet printing to final enlargements.*

*Darkroom and RA-4 classes have a recommended donation of $150 to help cover the cost of supplies. The Large Format class has a recommended donation of $75, which helps cover materials and support the facilitator. Donations are optional, no payment is required to register for or attend any class or workshop.
